Low End Theory is one of the dopest musical nights out there.. Point blank, second to none. Nothing beats the vibe, the music, the soul. All those raw underground hip hop parties and open mics, with a touch of the grittiness of street and that next level shit when it comes to music. My man Jason (Nosaj Thing) will rock it with Daedelus and Knowledge tonight. Peep Game!

DAEDELUS
[Ninja Tune]
One of L.A.’s most daring artists, this young musical romantic weaves together a true “love-sound” that falls between honeyed melody and avant-electronics. Daedelus chops and splices disparate acoustic sources into incredible works of staggering resonance. Contrasting IDM styled cut-ups with childlike 30s arrangements, he has refined a style that has no imitators. Daedelus has been a stalwart of Low End Theory since our inception, and we consider him to be one of our residents-at-large. This night he returns home for his first Low End show in over six months.

NOSAJ THING
[Alpha Pup]
One of our favorite local laptop geniuses, Nosaj Thing represents the next generation of L.A. electronic music producers. He’s already rocked Low End Theory (both L.A. and NYC) on countless occasions, but we can’t seem to get enough of his glitch-injected breaks. His recent signing to Alpha Pup has cemented his position among L.A.’s production elite. Expect an awe-inspiring preview of his forthcoming debut full-length album on this special evening.

KNXWLEDGE
[All City]
The opening to new horizons towards melodic and rhythmic structures that are not limited by physical properties of natural instruments traveling faster than the speed of light, knXwledge has circulated his sound worldwide. Featured on a gazillion mixtapes in the last year, he has a highly anticipated release on Dublin’s All City label in 2009. His captivating sound is a blend of true musicianship and hip-hop breakbeats all wrapped into one.

“One of the best things to happen to L.A. music since The Troubadour opened in 1957″ — RE:UP Magazine
“An ambience that simply can’t be found elsewhere” — L.A. Times
The illest resident DJ lineup to hit L.A. in years, rocking one of the most ridiculous sound systems in the city. Over 25,000 watts of amplification flowing through the legendary Pure Filth sound system that will take your breath away. Come hear the music as it was meant to be heard…
