The Chi-town emcee Really DOE, is on his way to the top of his career as a solo artist with his debut album, First Impressions. Currently signed to Cartel Records, which is owned and managed by Griffin Guess, who is also Kanye West’s marketing director, his long awaited album was released on August 18th, exlusively through iTunes and Best Buy.

“First Impressions addresses a litany of topics that range from personal struggles of growing up in Chicago, to the current political landscape and all that falls in between.”

Prior to signing with Cartel, DOE was featured on some hot tracks such as Consequence’s “Disperse” off his 2007 album, Don’t Quit Your Day Job, and Kanye West’s “We Major” off his 2005 album, Late Registration under G.O.O.D. Music.

With singles like “Plastic” featuring Kanye West and “Mesmerized” featuring Danny Klein, this up and coming emcee is almost sure to climb his way to the top.

A group of artists collaborates in locations around the world to create art pieces that illustrate the philosophy of Absolut Vodka.

Absolut Vodka collaboration with director Rupert Sanders to embark on a series of advertisements that draw upon that sweet spot. The ad features a number of different areas, the urban landscape of the city, Artic regions,forest area, and in each place there’s a different word, which eventually creates the phrase, “Doing Things Differently Leads To Something Exceptional.” I’m really feeling the creative direction and unique flavor within these pieces.

Check out the scene is with the bottles in the forest. They were somehow able to change the height of the bottles, so when you see it at first they appear waist high. However,later you can see them from below, spelling the word ‘Things.’ Over 2,000 bottles were used to create the effect.

Probably my favorite video on the Internet at this moment. Where do I even begin with this kid. Bowl cut…Boom…”Bacon is good for me”…Boom..His name is Curtis…bang….His face at 0:31….BEST. This is the face he makes when he is standing up for himself and his family. Be careful because if you piss this kid off, you probably will never see his face again. Oh, and by the way…BACON IS GOOD FOR ME…healthy got damn treat…straight from the hog. Curtis beats you in life….you lose. : )

The celebrity club DJ, Adam Michael Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, was found dead in an apparent drug overdose in his New York City apartment today. AM who was known for dating starlets, collecting hundreds of sneakers, and surviving a horrible plane crash died at the young age of 36.

His last words to his heartbroken fans via Twitter, AM tweeted “New York, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain’t always what it seems.”
