Anderson Silva: “Not impressed by GSP or BJ Penn”.
The sport’s top pound for pound fighter, Anderson Silva, is known for his amazing striking technique, showmanship inside the ring and his humble attitude outside of it. The following video leads me to believe Silva was either misquoted in the translation with reporters, hyping up what he said to cause controversy, or that Silva really adopts the attitude that few people impress him.
What is funny is that when you watch the beginning of the video, he says BJ doesn’t impress him, he later goes on to call him “The best” and when asked if the best pound for pound fighter is Penn, he says “maybe” while declining both Fedor and GSP.
