Today I finally got a chance to check out Brian Viveros and Dan Quintana’s: Desensitized! Days before I checked out the show, I prepped myself by looking at some of Viveros early work and some of his current stuff as well. I wanted to get more familiar with his stuff before I drove anywhere. This was going to be the first time seeing his work in person. However, Ive known about Dan Quintana for quite a while now. He has always been a talented artist from what I can remember…I wasn’t that surprised that he turned out this good. His work speaks for itself. By the way… I have a funny story about Daniel… about 8 years ago I was break dancing with a friend in my garage, when Daniel happen to walk by and notice us. He came into the garage…called us out for a battle…he took his shoes off and got down at that very moment. We danced for a good thirty minutes before Daniel packed his stuff and went on his way. The funny part about it is I didn’t even really know who he was at that time…It was kind of like a New York thing…when you used to see a rival crew getting down at the corner…BAM!…a battle.
