How does Adam Wallacavage Celebrate the Difference…

I don’t think much about the art form wether it’s craft, sculpture, design etc. I just create things I want created. There’s many reasons why I do what I do but started doing what I do after years of doing all kinds of stuff like photography and silk screening and interior design and what ever else I’ve done. Making these chandeliers is the most artistically satisfying I’ve ever done so that’s how I like to classify it.

What is a typical day in Adam Wallacavages life…

Every day is usually completely different from the next. Its fun and exciting though and I love it but it’s not consistent what so ever so I’m not sure how to answer a question like that.

What inspires you to make chandeliers…and why the octopus…

I started making them simply for my house and I room I made that was based on 20000 Leagues Under the Sea. I just fell in love with working like this so I didn’t stop.

Any future project we should be looking out for…

I just want to work on my house after this show. I have a new room I’m working on that I want to rival all the other rooms in my house. I’m excited to get to work on it!
